If you smelled smoke in Los Barriles / Buenavista on the night of June 28th, 2018 or early morning of the 29th, it’s due to the vertedero Buenavista landfill still burning in a couple of locations.  //  Si olió a humo en Los Barriles / Buena Vista la noche del 28 de junio de 2018 o temprano en la mañana del día 29, es debido al vertedero Buena Vista que aún se quema en un par de lugares.

The good news is that the bulldozer that was there on the 27th is still there and working the land, hopefully completely extinguishing the fires soon.  //  La buena noticia es que la excavadora que estaba allí el día 27 todavía está allí y trabajando la tierra, con suerte extinguiendo completamente los incendios pronto.

It remains to be seen if new fires will be started once the current ones are completely out.  //  Queda por ver si se iniciarán nuevos incendios una vez que los actuales estén completamente fuera.
